[[#|Complete]] the following:
  • [[#|Sign up]] & create a free EDUCATOR WikiSpace account at http://www.wikispaces.com/site/for/teachers or pbworks.com. Do try to get some kind of K-12 looking content on your Wikispace ASAP, so that your educator account will get approved.
  • Watch these Video Tours created by WikiSpaces. Click the dropdown menu above the video player to select different [[#|tutorial]] videos.
  • Practice using WikiSpaces (change look and feel, make new pages, upload files, images, videos, etc.)

Step 2: Design an Instructional Activity Using Wikispaces

Consider how to support and enhance students’ research and information fluency while leveraging the power of Wikispaces.
  • Provide a brief description of an instructional activity you have designed using Wikispaces to enhance your students’ higher order thinking or etiqette on line.
  • Include with a learner outcome(s) from your specific Common Core, MSL, or NC Essential Standards and anything else necessary to illuminate the essence of the activity.

Step 3: Post Activity Description and URL Link on Course Wiki

When you are ready to post the URL and an overview of your instructional use of Wikispaces in the classroom, go to the Discussion Board link to the left.
